You can ride the Crest anyday you want, but the Mill Creek Trails are only open to mountain bikes on EVEN days, 26th, 28th, etc....

www.utahmountainbiking.com has a good trail forum and many discussions about the Crest trail.

You can access and ride the Crest trail from Park City, The Canyons, or Guardsman Pass Road any day. You cannot descend into Mill Creek, or ride up from the end of the Mill Creek Canyon road, on odd-numbered days.

I could never remember the odd/even rule until I thought about it this way: If you were to choose - would you want odd or even days? Of course, you'd choose odd, because in some months you get an extra day. Those are the days you don't get!
