Visiting Bryce, Mt. Zion, would like to ride and I need bike and trail info

Hello, I will be visiting Utah and I have an opportunity to ride in both Bryce and My. Zion. I will need to rent a bike. Can someone please provide me with the name of bike shops and trails? Thanks!

FYI, while we know what you meant, it's Zion National Park, not Mt. Zion.

Just to save you some embarrassment in person, once there. And, you can't ride off-road IN either Zion or Bryce.

Outside of Zion, you can ride some great trails in Rockdale, Virgin, etc.

It's Rockville, not Rockdale. Just to save you some embarrassment when you come back.

Thunder Mountain Trail on the west side of Bryce is one of my favorites.

    my suggestion.

by all means, visit Bryce, on your feet. at least, get up early & go to Sunrise Point & walk out away from the crowds at the railing to a great viewpoint for the sunrise. for sure, get there when the stars are still out to see the total transformation. being a biker, you'll be thinking about riding a bike "down there". and then, go ride Thunder Mtn.

Thank you everyone for the info, definitely getting excited now! It sounds like I'll start with Thunder Mountain. I keep seeing that Rubys Inn/Bryce Canyon car care center rents bikes? Would that be the way to go? Thanks again!

They rent Specialized FS bikes but I don't know which model. Probably Stumpies and any of those models would be fine on Thunder Mountain. The tread is all XC. No rock jumping or advanced stuff. I took my wife down it on her 5th time on an MTB!

The thrill on T Mtn is the flow and awesome scenery.
