    Utards in Fruita?

Anybody else going to the Fat Tire Festival this weekend?

I think I saw that Brian is going... anybody else? Chuky and I are headed down Friday but have never been there... would be good to catch up with folks.

I was there 2 weeks ago and 4 weeks ago. Don't think I can make it 3 times in 6 weeks. But it would be nice. The festival is great, but I prefer Fruita in it's less crowded form. Easter weekend was the most crowded I've ever seen it at 18 Rd, it was almost impossible to find a campsite, we lucked out and got one mid-day Friday. Folks that showed up Friday night were begging for tent space whereever they could find it. Folks that showed up Sat. were screwed.

Enjoy, the trails are in killer shape, they've been getting just enough rain to keep things in primo condition, although a few of the trails on 18 road had some super soft dusty surfy steeps (Zippidy for sure on the two steep sections).

    Bump...

Anyone else? Would be fun to meet some local MTBR folks for some XC riding.

hmmmm.. I'm trying to decide what I want to do.. stay in town and chill this weekend or go see some mayhem and ride. I need to find a pooch sitter though. I'd rather not hassle with the doggy with so many people around on the trails. If I can get my singleator fixed tomorrow I'll have my SS too and that'll make me more inclined to come for sure!

If I go though I'll post up so we can meet up again.

    Back from Fruita

Chuky and I just got back from East Moab... Riding was great and the weather cooperative. Didn't run into many folks from SLC, but the parking lots were crowded!
