    Pretty balanced...

    I thought both the video and the article were pretty fair to both sides.

    Dale Parriot and Ride With Respect have the right idea: work with the agencies and create sustainable trails, then educate the riders. The problem is that some users are just idiots. MTB, ATB, motorcycle, 4x4 and yes, hikers and horses. There is always the idiot element.

    I fear that the only solution is more restrictions. You can't change human nature. I can foresee a day when use of trails in SE Utah will be by permit only. Unfortunately, you will see a situation like rafting the Grand Canyon, where you either wait for years or pay $$$$$ to go with a guide.

    Ride while you can.
