    Trails marked for direction?

I'm just curious to know if the trails in your area are marked for direction. Here in Michigan, I am told the DNR will not allow trails marked for direction because if there's an accident the DNR could get sued. Yeah sounds like a bunch of BS. So are your trails marked?

    Thanks,

They're not marked with on-trail signage, but sometimes they are on maps, especially those trails on ski resort property. Generally everything on public land is two-way; there are some lift-served trails at the resorts that are DH-only, however. Having once stopped to enlighted a hardy soul in full lycra headed UP one of the double-black DH trails at Deer Valley, it stands to reason that it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to post a warning at the bottom of some trails as to their designation, especially if they're on private/leased land.
