    Trails at Flaming Gorge

We are planning on riding at Flaming Gorge the week of June 5th-June 11th. We are staying in Manila. Are there any new trails that have been created from the Flaming Gorge trail development initiative? or just what I can find here and on the Utah Mountain Biking website? Thanks in advance.

I rode there years ago from the Red mountain lodge. There were trails right from the lodge on top of the rim to Flaming Gorge. Since it has been a while I don't want to mislead you so if no one else chimes in contact the Red mountain Lodge or the bike shop in Vernal -Altitude cycles.

I do know that Dagget county is in the planning stages of putting in a fairly large network of trails. Anyhow contact numb and they should be able to help you out.

Thanks for the information. We have ridden the trails around Vernal, now looking forward to the trails near Manila. I'll be riding a Salsa Bucksaw. Should be a blast.

Let us know what you find out when you go. I have a sister in Manila and have wanted to explore the trails around there and Vernal more.

Late post. We had fun on the trails around Red mountain Lodge, some fun intermediate tech sections on them. Dowd Mountain was also a fun ride. Didn't ride Swett Ranch.
Talked to a Ranger in Manila and was told they are planning on building 15 miles of more trails near Dowd Mountain trail, but was not given a time frame. You can call the Forest Service office in Manila to find out more though. Very friendly people.
