    Uhm...

When the snow melts and the trails dry out! (Sorry, I couldn't help myself)

The Red Canyon Visitor's Center is near the trailhead. They should be able to let you know if the snow has melted (435-676-2676). Or you could call Ruby's Inn near Bryce, since they have groomed XC skiing, they could let you know about the snow as well.

I've found the RC VC to be helpful with regards to the trail conditions but sometimes someone answers the phone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

I rode it yesterday on way from Fruita to St George

And the trail conditions were great , I'm so glad i rode it was one of the best xc singletracks i've ridden, I rode up the trail and then back down it - rather than take the bike path up to the start, ride was 17 miles long, weather was perfect it was about 65f and very windy

Anyways i'm off to ride Goosebury mesa now

    Cheers

We are heading to Gooseberry Thursday, riding Thunder on Friday and then to the Rainbow on Saturday and Sunday. You guys live in paradise. I love Utah. Great scenery and great people. Wish I could figure away to get out of SoCal and move to St. George. Maybe some day.

That's awesome that you got to ride Thunder mtn. I was just there this weekend (bryce canyon) and I got as close as the trailhead. I was with my pregnant wife, so we didn't do much.

If you're interested, here's a ton of pics from Bryce Canyon:

I was, however, lucky enough to squeeze in a ride on Church Rocks in St George.
    How was Gooseberry Mesa?
