Summer night riding in St. George area?

Parents just moved there and going to be out for a week. Planning on doing mostly early morning stuff to beat the heat but was wondering about night riding. Is it allowed? Recommended? Don't do it?

Sure it's allowed. I wouldn't go somewhere where no one will find your body for awhile if something goes wrong though. The JEM system is pretty fun at night.

We did Bearclaw Poppy to Stucki Springs once on a full moon night ride. With the white dirt and barren landscape you could almost see better with the lights off. Very cool. Agree with Silentfoe. JEM system would also be a lot of fun at night.

Be sure and put your flashlights on your helmet. If it is attached to your bike I think it becomes and e-bike. And they are illegal of course.

That's a weird rule. Didn't end up getting a night ride but rode the trails off of cove wash though. 2 miles from parents house so was perfect to dip away for a couple quickies.

It's not a rule. He's being obtuse. Glad you got to check out a few of the Santa Clara trails.
