New question here. St. George (Den to SD)

looking at possibly driving from denver to san diego; st. george appears to be halfway.

    i know nothing...

    riding there or anywhere nearby?
cheap place to stay for one night?
better option for either in a nearby town?

    thanks in advance.

    happy 4th o'july-- be safe.

VRRT or Virgin River Rim Trail is a beautiful trail in the area but very tough and steep. Only for young legs and lungs.
What I like even better is Thunder Mountain. Beautiful, unique trail thru hoodoos similar to Bryce NP, which is near. Around 8000'.
