    St. George bound...

3 of us will be heading up to St. George from AZ this Sunday night to ride Mon – Wed.
Plan right now is Gooseberry on Monday, Bearclaw Poppy on Tuesday and Broken Mesa on Wednesday.

I think we’ve got the trail info and maps/gps all set (from utahmountainbiking.com) but figure it wouldn’t hurt to throw this out there and see if there is anything we should be aware of or any trail info/details that would help us out.

    Thanks!

There are usually only a small handful of days that make Goose and LIttle Creek unrideable due to snow or rain, but for the most part, this area is great for riding year round. 'size what type of riders are in your group? What skill level? Gooseberry is a "must do", but if the riders in your group are good technical riders, then for your Tuesday ride, you will want to add either the Barrel trail or Zen trail to the Bear Claw Poppy. They are all in the same area, and easily linked up. I'd be happy to show you around if your group is in decent riding shape, and upper intermediate riders. See pics for type of riding on Zen and Barrel trail:

Anytime Holmes. Just let me know when you'll be in town, and Team Sanchez will show you around. Based on your profile, I'm going to guess that these lines are to your liking....

    You know,

    bumps 'n grinds,

    exposure,

    rocks and cacti,

    all within my comfort zone,

but i really want to work on getting more Air Worthy - I'm just not comfortable with things over 3 to 4' and my bike sure is, and it's a sad disparity.

Nice pics by the way. Looking forward to exploring some trail in the area.

Just arrived in st. George from az myself, thread is perfect timing!

My girl and I are planning on hiking around Zion tomorrow (Saturday), and riding Sunday (although I could be talked into riding both days).

That said, I have two questions:

    1) What's the best trail(s)/areas to ride for a couple of intermediate riders on 45 pound freeride bikes?

    2) Would anyone from the area like to be super awesome and ride with us on Sunday?

Thanks in advance for your responses!
