    Sovergn trail conditions

    Heard that its very sandy. Any truth to that? Thanks.

    In some areas yes. Also gravel, stones & rocks. Nice trail.

    Sovereign Not Sandy at All

    Whoever told you that Sovereign is sandy must be a little stoned. Sovereign is probably the least sandy trail in Moab. Sovereign even has less sand than the Slickrock trail. I have to dismount my bike on the Slickrock trail due to several sand pits, but I never have to get off of my bike to wade through sand on Sovereign. Sovereign is a great trail with slickrock portions and hard packed single track, sort of a clay that is like cement.

    Sand at some road crossings, most folks don't even ride those parts. Upper section is clay, and doesn't play well with rain (like yesterday ).
