    SLC trip

I am going to be in SLC in early June for work. I am going to rent a bike and ride Park City on the day I arrive, but would like to be able to ride some trails after work while I am in SLC. Does anyone have:
1- Recommendations of where to rent/demo a bike in/near downtown?
2- Trail recommendations (preferably accessible from downtown without a car)
    3- Group/shop rides in evenings?

    Thanks!

Last year I rented a bike from BINGHAM CYCLERY, 336 BROADWAY, SALT LAKE CITY, UT, 84101 in down town and they treated me good. I think the cost was $60 a day..? Also you might be able to pedal I'll to dry creek or city creek. They are north east of down town. As for group/shop rides, Bingham might be a good place to ask.

Wasatch Touring does rentals and shop rides, kinda between downtown and U of U. Go Ride also has a nice rental fleet, but theyre a bit south of downtown off 3300 S.

If you can make it down to Corner Canyon in Draper, there's a lot of nice trails.

The PC Commuter Link bus has several time options if you're looking to get from SLC to PC and vice versa, check rideuta.com for schedules.

The BST trail system from the zoo to Bountiful contains enough riding to keep you quite entertained for several days, and is easily accessed from downtown.

Wasatch touring rents good stuff. You won't need anything more than a short-travel FS bike or hardtail to have fun on the Shoreline system in general, though there are a few isolated gnar spots you can find if you go looking for them.
