SLC area shops that allow you to do your own wrenching?

Anyone know of any shops in the Provo - Ogden areas that allow you to do your own wrenching, or any shops that offer classes on doing your own wrenching? I'm going to be building a bike from the frame up and am missing a few of the tools I'll need to get the job done.

I would also love to watch how the pro's get derailleurs aligned. I've watched videos on youtube, but would really love to watch how the pros do it in person.

Check out the slc bike collective: Bicycle Collective

They have workstands, tools, all for minimal charge (I want to say 5 bucks an hour?)

They have classes too, they're free. Friendly, helpful folks too.
I'm looking forward to regretting this.......

    Thank you so much, Johnnyspoke!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have seen similar operations in other cities, but wasn't aware we had one in the SLC area.

    Edit:

Oh wow, looking through their website, they have multiple operations throughout the salt lake valley and their shop in Provo opened this week. They are having a Park Tools Headset class on saturday at 6:00 that I'll be attending for sure. My headset on my road bike is having issues, and this was one of the main reasons I wanted a shop like this.

    Thanks again for the tip!

Good to hear! I've only been to the location about 2300 south west temple, I know they have several workstands and tool benches there. They also have monday night mechanic classes. It's great to see they are expanding.

    Multiple Collective Locations

    Bicycle Collective

Shows locations in SLC, Provo, Ogden, Westminster, U of U.

I have only been to the Ogden location (when it first opened) and it is a great place to wrench and learn if you don't have your own tools. Plus you never know what you may find in the for sale stuff!
