New question here. Shoreline Trail- Go or NoGo

Will be in SLC this weekend and wondering if the Shoreline trail above the UofU is rideable?

    no, not really.

give it some time. I was hiking up there just a few days ago, it was pretty muddy.

I'm pretty sure it's a muddy mess. There's still lots of snow melting all over it. It's going to be a while in my view. I know other trail users are using and abusing it, but I'm not going to be the one that gives a bad name to local mountain bikers by rushing the spring season. That's why I bought a road bike and also travel south a lot.

After this coming week of 65 and no rain, it might be okay by Friday.

I suggest a recon hike to avoid rutting her up, though. I will do that this week and report.

I rode it Sunday and it was fine. Few 100 yard sections of mud, but overall in much better condition than I thought it would be. That part should be great by the weekend. I only went as far as Bobsled though, anyone know what its like going down into City Creek?
