Self shuttling Enchilada - March 21st through 26th.

we'll have a big crowd of coloradoans and chicagoans out in Moab for some spring shakedown playtime. we won't be using a shuttle company, but plan to just shuttle ourselves with multiple trucks available for dropoff and retrieval.

Hows it looking out there? how high should we be stoked to get?

I rode my motorcycle up the other day and hit snow at 7200 feet. Theres still snow and ice on the Loop Rd. You can probably ride from the CV overlook down without issue.

Depends on when in the spring you're going.
They may be getting some snow high up this weekend.

Check with the bike shops in town, Chile Pepper Bikes, or Poison Spider web site trail conditions says only Porcupine Rim proper is the only thing good to go, everything above, like UPS, LPS, Kokopelli are still a few weeks out.

Please don't ride the muddy trails and wreck them for everyone else.

LPS may be open in the morning by then before thaw. Shuttle up Sand Flats Road to the highest point the shuttles are going. Above that will wreck the trails.

Kokopelli/UPS/LPS are snowed in right now, and there is snow predicted for this week.

Basically you're asking way too early; at this time of year, there is no way of telling what will be open until a day (sometimes less) before you plan to ride. Check the Poison Spider page for regular updates.

Thanks for the feedback guys, obviously out in that neck of the woods we have a lot of options. depending on weather over the next several days, if you have any additional feedback its most appreciated.
