    SD/DH Race at Bootleg Canyon 9/25-26/2010

    Its the 2nd Annual BT Bittersweet Super D and DOWNHILL Races...
    September 25-26, 2010 at BOOTLEG CANYON
    Hosted by Johnson Rockhard Presents...


    FEATURING ROCKHARD SPEEDTRAP! (speed radar on course)

    Courses:
    SD- Boyscout-West Leg-Saddle-Left on Mother-Around the Rock to downhill road sprint
    finish. (All Classes)

    DH- Snakeback-Horseshoe- Reaper (Expert and Under)
    Snakeback- Poop Chute- Reaper (Pros and Open)


    Practice shuttles will begin Friday 10-5 $20
    Race and Practice shuttles run 8-4 throughout the weekend (included in registration)
    $60 expert >
    $80 open<

    Awards 1st -3rd
    Fastest course time award
    Speedtrap award
    Pro Payback

    The two reports I've heard back from participants in Super D past would be a yes. In fact, I think Noah Colorado may have some Bootleg Super D footage on his blog.

    I also recall the following comments: It is mostly down and super fun. The guys who ride in California's nice weather all year round showed up and kicked everyone's ass (this was for a Spring time race so who knows after racing Dark Hollow at 11,000ft.)

    Just realized I am out of town that weekend, oh well. And the October dates conflict with the Moab Ho-Down = Moab wins.

    BUT gonna try my best to make the December race. Perfect timing for retaining some semblance of bike racing shape thru ski season.

    Most definitey individual time trials! The course is awesome and the speed radar is hooked up at the finish line...
