Salt Lake City - Trip - Nov 10-16th

Hey hey, I'll be in SLC for business, Nov 10 - 16th... coming in from NC

I've ridden MOAB twice prior, but this time would like to stay around the SLC area... maybe Park City?

I'll be pretty busy through the week (I think) but I am staying the weekend, specifically to hang and ride.
Would be thrilled for a local tour... ;-)

Any suggestions for a rental? Shops, etc... I will NOT be shipping my bike.

    Thanks!

for some odd reason, today I'm trolling Utah...

Anything above 7000 feet or so will likely be snowed in, and it will be cold. Lower elevation stuff should be good, BST, Corner Canyon/Draper, Lambert, etc. Park City will probably be no bueno.
It's just frustrating sometimes being an Athena...

Anyone UT folks out there? I also have no problem driving to MOAB and getting in a all day Saturday ride, would LOVE to do that.

Is the weather a bit too chilly for SLC riding? Better off hitting the slopes, if any are open at this time?

    Suggestions?

I'll be in the area that weekend from NH. I am thinking about traveling to St George. Looks to be solid riding weather in the 60s. I have considered Fruita and Moab as well. Just not sure at this point. Thanks for the post, your saving me some work... lol.

We just got rain all day yesterday, light snow in the mountains, and there are odds of some serious snow in the next couple days. Hate to say it but I'd head south... Andre in Park City

    30+ inches at Brighton.

I've never ridden there but Antelope Island might be worthy for a ride close to SLC?

Yup, bummer... wish I could have made the trip earlier in the year. But actually from the looks of it, this trip is going to be canceled now... not because of the lack of riding in SLC, but the economy.
A lot of news in the past few days, we'll see.
