    road trip ideas

four guys (two cars - if shuttling needed) doing a trip from telluride CO to California. Allof have ridden Moab a lot and a looking for some other great riding on the way. Heard lower Utah is awesome but you need the inside line on how to get to the trails.

Any help is appreciated. Cross country free ride deals. All good riders with endurance (except for the Aussie!)

What about the Telluride to Moab Hut-to-Hut trip? 250+ miles in 7 days or something like that?

Or do just want some Southern Utah trail recommendations? Thunder Mountain and other trails near Bryce Canyon National Park are fun.

I'd hit, in order from N.E. to S.W., Fruita, Moab or not, Green River (5 Miles of Hell), Brian Head (depending on the time of year), St. George (Gooseberry & Little Creek Mesa), Vegas (Bootleg Canyon & Red Rocks). South/West of Vegas I don't have any ideas. One of the best resources for Utah is Utah Mountain Biking.Com. If you make it to St. George and want some local input PM me... I'll ride with the Aussie.

    Good luck,
    Crash

    Bunker Creek
    Blow Hard
    Virgin River Rim

    Casto/Cassidey/Thunder Mountain

St. George: (all of these are loops)
    Gooseberry Mesa
    Little Creek Mesa
    Barrel Rolls/Bear Claw Poppy
    Rockville Bench
    Church Rocks
    JEM/Hurrican Rim/Gould's Rim
