Road into Wedge from Castle Dale

Any recent intel on the dirt road into the Wedge and Goodwater Canyon trail. Headed on trip next week and am intrested in stopping in there. Driving chevy 3/4 ton 4wd with full size camper pulling a small inclosed cargo trailer for bikes. Any low underpasses or other obstacles? Saw a low bridge underpass on a TR but i think that was coming in from l70.
    Thanks for the info.

I've only driven in from HWY 6 and then out Buckhorn wash but those roads were easily drivable in a 2wd car. We pulled a camp trailer in with our Jeep. In looking at the roads and having driven half way to Castledale, they are pretty much a dirt highway. I don't think you'll have any worries.

You could drive 50 mph the whole way. It's pretty much a dirt 2 lane highway. Lots of it has been treated with mag chloride so there isn't much dust.

I have only driven in from the South. The turn off Hwy 6 is easy to miss if you don't know where it is or have it GPS'd. There are also some twisty narrow spots, scenic but difficult with a longer trailer. I would guess coming from Price that going through Castle Dale is easier.

just drove road last week, as PiousInquisitor said, buff/smooth.
If you're in Price, take 10 towards Castledale and then down, that's fastest. ( google shows the way )
The "green river cut-off" road goes out to 6, but I hear it is rough and not fast.
Buckhorn to I-70 was pretty fast and also got to see the big pictograph/petroglyph panel on the way.
