    Riding in UT late November

I'm looking to get as much riding in as possible b/w Friday and Monday on Thanksgiving weekend.. Home base is SLC so I'd consider anywhere within a half day's drive(+/-) that won't be covered in white stuff.. what do you think are my best options?.. Moab is of course my first choice but I'll play it by ear for weather.

We'll be camping, and primitive is fine, so wherever we ride doesn't have to be in proximity of hotels and such. Just looking for some adventure!

    Virgin?
    St. George?
    Fruita?

Thanks for any suggestions you might have for trails and/or weather!

    fruita, moab, san jorge

I would say play it by ear. I used to spend everyother Thanksgiving in Moab, and plenty of times there would be snow on the ground. I would assume fruita would be similar or worse (because of altitude).

Saint George on the other hand, is rideable all year round. Last year, I had one of the best rides of my life on T-Giving day....
