    Question about Wasatch area

In general, when would you say the Park City and Ogden area trails see their first snowfall of the year?

I believe it snowed once in the last 10-15 years on Labor Day. I have slid rails at Alta on September 13 more than once. I also have had years where I couldn't until the first week of October. Sometimes longer.

End of October is typically when snow starts falling on PC trails at ~8,000 ft and up. Early October is my favorite time of year to ride, cool weather and lot's of leaves on the trails.

October is the best time to ride. Although the ski stoke is usually getting revved up at that time.

High trails in Ogden will usually see snow in late October to November, low trails mid to late November.

Last year we were riding into December. Good stuff.
