    Photo Session Today?

I've got a new camera to test (Canon EOS 7D) and I want to shoot some fast action. Anyone up for an I-Street session late this afternoon? I'm open to other locations, too. In fact, I don't really like shooting I-Street because the backgrounds suck. But it's easy to get to and the jumps are good.

    Anyone interested?

Are you a dirt jumper? Your profile says your favorite type of riding is road? And your favorite trails are at Solitude? I love riding and taking pictures at Solitude. But I'm thinking since it's got a north aspect it's probably done for the season.

I believe I still owe you prints from last time

How's the light up there in the afternoon right now? How late can we shoot before the sun goes behind the trees?

Yeah, he told me. Don't worry, we'll do it again in a couple of years ;-D

Actually, this camera has me psyched to do more chucker photos. So I'm anxious to get out and do it again. I'd like to shoot some other jumps, too. Know of anything with mountains in the background? I-Street and PC both kinda suck for good backgrounds.

Sure would like to see some of those shots you took yesterday.

Maybe we need to find a new spot to build some jumps that has a mountain view....

Ideally, it would be somewhere in the middle of the valley instead of right up aganst the mountains. Somewhere along the Jordan River would be sweet.

    Good Session

It was a sweet session. Thanks Tony and Zach for showing up. I shot most of my photos of you two guys, since I know you. I'm gonna force you to look at them on my site though. I need the traffic, plus these were really shot as camera tests. I don't know that they're tip-top DJ photos. But they're great auto focus tests. I'm sure you guys will be happy with them

See the rest of the photos (three more), here:

Canon EOS 7D Auto Focus Testing >>

When are we gonna do it again? I'm ready to worry less about camera testing and more about getting more creative!

Did the video end up looking as good as you'd hoped?
