    Outerbike this weekend

Well, I committed to Moab 5-8 and just realized it's Outerbike. Anyone been there before during this event? I want to avoid these guys as much as possible. Are the crowds okay in the trail areas where Outerbike isn't doing demos?

You'll be fine. Even if you ride the trails they are shuttling, you won't notice. They drop a van maybe once every 15 minutes, and only from 10-2.

I did Outerbike a couple years ago. Just find out what trails they are shuttling and on which days - probably Amasa Back dropoff / pickup one day and Mag 7 the next - and avoid them on that day. You'll notice the numbers. It's not a huge surge, but more than an "average" spring weekend. And obviously avoid the Brand trails since that's where they setup.

Yeah, I downloaded their schedule....they start drinking beer at 4 PM at the Brand trails and the Brewpub starts serving ribs at 5 PM. I think I can get there before the crowd!

I just called, the shuttles plan on running up to a point just above UPS at Jimmy Keen on Saturday.

Edit: It was great, no problems. Trails were busy, but it was festive and everyone was pleasant to be around.
