    Other rides around Gooseberry?

We'll be camping for a few days at Goose and wonder what other rides nearby you guys would recommend. We were planning on trying Little Creek for one. Last time we where in the area we rode the short JEM loop along the river gorge, but weren't that impressed -- aside from the time on the edge of the cliff.

Little Creek will be good - provided you can find the trailhead and navigate the trails, both can be tricky. Green Valley / Bearclaw Poppy Stucki Springs loop in St George is nothing challenging, but is one of the more fun trails I've ridden. (very "rollercoastery") You can pretty much ride it like a huge pump track on the 6 mi. DH return. If snow / weather permits, take a drive and do Thunder Mountain.

Slickrock Swamp in Rockville (near Springdale) is another good one close to Gooseberry. Directions can be found on utahmountainbiking.com

It's similar to GB but definitely has its own flavor. Go check it out!

You can try out Broken Mesa Rim Trail - excellent ride. Has a nice section of DH singletrack. We shuttled to the top which makes it about an 8 mile ride. If you ride the whole loop it's about 15 miles.
