    Need Formula K24 Pads

Just came back from Go-Ride. They don't have any K24 pads and said the distributors haven't had any for a while. Anybody have any ideas about where I can some locally? If I'm not metal on metal, I will be in a ride or two.

All the online retailers are pretty much out of stock on Formula stuff. I know BTI doesn't have anything either. Jenson at least had a kevlar hose that I needed. If you get desperate there are some pads on the shelf at the LBS down here in Flagstaff. I doubt they'll go fast, not too many folks on formulas in these parts but I bet you can find some in the SLC/PC area, no?

Go-Ride said BTI and Quality are both all out. That's why I posted here. Rather than just calling around, I'm hoping some of the local homies will just point me in the right direction. I'd rather buy them locally than have to order. It would suck to have to buy a whole new set of brakes because there were no pads available.

PM me. I got one spare set of sintered pads, and 2 used sets of the organics, one of which still has plenty of life in them. I'll give you a set of the organics, but I'll have to charge you for the sintereds.

I picked up a set from Revolution a couple of weeks ago. Maybe give them a call.

I've been toying with the idea of replacing the Avid BB7's on my Flux with K24's. What's the deal with the distributors not having repacement pads? It doesn't instill much confidence in Formula if I can't even get replacement pads.

It's my understanding that the distributors start to run dry this time of year. The big dogs are getting ready to release new product and focusing on interbike. Just have a look at BTI's website. It's not just formula stuff. They don't even have an XT crankset stock.

OK, cool. Than it sounds like Photo-John is just real lousy at preparing in advance.

I've gotten them at Fischers in SLC and never had an issue.
