Thunder mountain and cedar city are a go. Up high near brian head will be iffy in two weeks not due to snow but downed trees hopefully we can get some updates soon. Brian head opens july 1st and Navajo lake loop should be dry by then along with Vrrt but will need some chainsaw love.

Just an FYI, was up and looked at Navajo lake trails and Vrrt and the amount of deadfall is crazy...Waaaaaaaaay worse than last year.

    STT GUY,

I have never ridden Navajo lake trails, one of my buddies is moving this weekend, July 2nd and we were thinking about riding Navajo before we help him move. Do you recommend we ride something else?

The weekend of the 9th I will be in Cedar City for the Fireroad XC race and probably ride Thunder Mtn on Sunday the 10th...

    Thanks

the lake loop maybe iffy but would be the first to get cut id imagine. You should look into the C trail in Cedar city. Lots of fun and twisty

Navajo has been cleared except a section from Navajo Campground to Te-ah.

Thunder Mountain was dry as a bone on Thursday, the 2nd half was pretty chewed up by horses, assume when it was still wet?

I rode the loop and talked to the visitor center people on sunday the 3rd, they said the Dike trail up to VRRT and down spruce was cut also. Said they should have the rest cut by next weekend (july 8th). I assume that was all the stuff around navajo lake (navajo camp. to te-ah) but perhaps the whole thing..? There was a lot of trees last time I looked

Just rode the northern stretch of navajo lake out and back - it is in great shape. About to try bunker creek... wish us luck.
