MTB instructor needed - Moab 12-15th July (from UK)

Hi - myself and GF have a three day break in Moab on the 12th-15th of July.

Can anyone recommend any instructors for a couple of hours in that period. Obviously this will have to be early or late. I'm a coach too but she won't listen to me and local knowledge beats what I know!

We have biked there the same period before (timing due to UK teaching holidays etc), so have a bit of experience - GF just needs some improved technical confidence while I go off and ride.

We've got bikes at Poison Spider - but I think the coaches they recommended haven't worked out for whatever reason.

    Thanks.

I don't know anything about these guys, but the title says, "Moab Mountain Bike Instruction".

They can keep your GF occupied while you hit rides too hard for her. If that's not the objective, you could just go out and ride and not give instruction, just enjoy yourselves!

Hi, I'm Operations Manager for Rim Tours in Moab and I can heartily recommend Moab Mountain Bike Instruction, having taken their two-day skills course myself earlier this spring! Sylvie is awesome. Rim Tours also offers half-day tours that involve lots of riding tips but not formal instruction sessions, and whenever we have requests for full instructional sessions, we send folks to MMBI. Poison Spider works with Mike Holme of Magpie tours. He's an IMBA level 3 coach and one of their head instructors. If you can get him or his staff, you'd be in 7th heaven. I hope that's not who you are having trouble getting but they may be booked.
