    Moab or St.George

we are planning a trip to utah in april. I recently heard about st. george. We have been to Moab several times and absolutely love it. So my question is... Is going to st. george worth it? Why would you choose st george and what trails would you HAVE to ride ( mainly xc not too much freerideing or DH)

    Thanks for your input.
I just don't understand my wife....she thinks its nuts to ride when the temperature is in the 20's....go figure

Well, by April i usually would go to Moab too,as Zion is warmer so i go there in winter.

There is certainly great riding in St George, but it's not quite mecca status like Moab is,unless you ARE into FR riding. For FR there are sick shuttles and the Rampage zone. For XC Gooseberry Mesa is the #1 place to start (near Zion NP)

The thing about Moab is that all the trails are really near town.Zion will take a bit of searching around and driving to get to the hot spots. If you want to do something new then i would highly recommend trying zion.

I noticed that you have Slickrock noted as your favorite trail. What are you smokin? Have you ridden Porcupine Rim?
I moved to St. George for the riding and have never once wished I lived in Moab. We do a roadie to Moab twice a year only for Porc. IMO it is the only trail worth leaving home for.
