I'm not much help, but I've always had a good meal at the brewery, when in Moab.

There are a lot of good places to eat in Moab! You won't starve to death. Try Yelp or just pick anything that looks interesting. Most are on the main street so one drive-through town and you'll have it figured out. There are plenty of restaurants for Mexican or pizza.

In Fruita The Hot Tomato is famous for pizza but Moab doesn't have such a place. Restaurants are very competitive and wouldn't survive long if they weren't good.

I'm addicted to the homemade raviolis in meat sauce at Pasta Jays. As I recall they also have pizza. Sit at the bar if you want to avoid the long line to get in.

Eh, I've had some pretty awful dining experiences in Moab over the years, and I think bad restaurants will and do survive there do to the high transitory nature of patrons and food service workers.

I agree that Zax (not Zak's) is pretty good, and the Moab Diner and Milt's has always been reliable. I think Paradox tries to be Moab's version of the Hot Tomato, but it's not as good.

There's a long list of places I actively avoid that I won't go into, and it generally takes more than a one off bad experience to put a place on the "do not eat" list for me.

    Have fun!

I totally agree with this. I think the brewery and Milt's have the best food in Moab...at least for my tastes.

Arches Thai on 100W may be the best Thai food I've ever had. Wait times for tables is getting long, but I've always just called for take-out.

I like Pasta Jay's pizza. Very thin crust. Ribs at the Moab Brewery (after 5:00 PM) are great. I've not had any Mexican food there that is as good as a typical taco truck. Milt's is a required stop.
