    Moab in late October?

    Heya everybody,

A buddy and me are planning a trip down to Moab in late October from Park City, and I was wondering what the weather was like that time of year. Can we still expect decently warm weather during the day down there? Or should we head further south to Zion instead?

    Thanks!

The nights can be a little cold, but the day temps are usually perfect that time of year.

Late October is good for Moab but be prepared for all kinds of weather conditions...

Word. We've got a three season tent and bags rated down to +15 F, so we're good in that department. Hopefully we don't get rained out, that'd suck.

We were in Moab for Thanksgiving last year....got a great ride in on Thursday (needed arm warmers). It snowed Thursday night and into Friday - 3-4 inches....no riding that day. By Saturday morning, the sun was out and the trails were dry and got a great morning ride in...again, needed arm warmers. Like other posters said...just be prepared for cool weather during the day and COLD weather at night if you are camping.
