Moab is in good shape. I rode Amassa yesterday and Eagles Rest today. Both were excellent. It was fairly cool up on the top of the rim, but mixed cloud and sunshine all day made for a fun outing.

There is snow around the place, but the trails seem perfect, driving by Moab Rim, it is entirely dry for the climb, Gold Bar is also dry, I have't been over towards Soveriegn yet, but that side of the highway has even less snow around the place.

(where there is snow, it is about 1/2" max depth. Although the higher rides would likely have more)

i escaped the front range for the last past 5 days and rode a bit every where in moab - very worth it.... even with a bit of snow on north facing... it's no problem - and no one is there only Utah plates on cars

heh, the only people I have met on the trails have been out-of-staters as well.

"Warm" is a relative term, but I was down to a t-shirt on Poison Spider just yesterday. Of course once the slightest bit of cloud obscured the sun I was putting another layer on pretty quickly. (but I am soft like that.)

I think we are trying to head out the over the MLK weekend

I will have to keep my fingers crossed that A) the weather will be good in the moutains, and B) the weather will be good in moab

everyone do your version of the nice weather dance
