I'll be driving through moab in a little over a week and i'm trying to find out what the conditions will be like? Just want to know if i should plan on stopping for a couple days to ride or just passing through.
    Thanks

Read the FAQ. The only problem you'll have is finding an open site.

I have been a bit surprised so far this year as there are not as many tent campers as I would expect, and I have lowwwwww expectations (you should see me girl friend )

It snowed once on us last week, but was high 50's to low 60's all week, except the day it snowed, and nothing stuck. There may be some more snow from the current storm, but I bet it will be gone in a day or so. You can see the pics from last week in this thread:

Any chance of UPS being good to go by early next week?

UPS is not currently a legally open trail. There is a work day scheduled for Wednesday March 25. It sounds like not much more work is needed for the USFS to declare it open.

That said, there was some good snow above Moab the last few days. The Kokopelli trail below the loop rd is often very messy with such weather. Maybe think about LPS or Porcupine for early next week.
