    Lost Wheel Moab?

Anybody run into my spare front wheel in Moab over the last week at a trailhead? Mag 7, Slickrock, Moab Brands Trails, etc.

SRAM Roam 40, Bontrager XR4 tire (tubed) stored in a distinctive wheelbag sewn by my wife (probably one of the brownish ones).

    Thanks!

It was probably turned in by now, I rode some Mag 7 trails last Tuesday and didn't see anything out there then. I'd ring up the sheriffs office ( 435-259-8115) and see if someone turned it in. Good luck

Thanks a lot for the tip and phone number. I appreciate it.

They don't have it, but they have now entered it into their log, in case somebody turns it in.

Any other ideas? I found a pair of shoes out that way eons ago, walked into Poison Spider Mesa bike shop with them the next day, and the guy who left them behind was in there asking about them.

I'm hoping some of that kind of luck comes my way!

Usually if someone finds something on the trail they bring it to the trailhead and leave it there. If you knew more precisely where you thought it was I'd run check for you tomorrow. There was nothing at Slickrock yesterday but the lot was full and it could have been " adopted", that said, there's been a down jacket at the trailhead for over a week, people aren't much into thieving out here........
    I'll keep an eye out

That's fantastic. Did one of the bike shops have it or did the sheriff call back?

Glad for you! I had delete the query from Facebook posts on your behalf too.
Was it as the trailhead? or turned in somewhere?
