Lost my camera on Porcupine, heads up!

I lost my little Canon SD1000 on Porcupine today (April 27th) I'm guessing somewhere in the last mile or two before the actual singletrack trailhead. Just thought I'd put this out there in case someone happens upon it and feels kind enough to find its owner - me:-)

I'm not crying over the camera loss, but I'd like to have the 1G SD card with the pics. Fortunately, I also had my Nikon DSLR along and took most of the pics with it, but I'd still like to have the Canon!
This is the crew I was with in case anyone that saw us on the trail actually picked it up:

Regardless, we're having an awesome time! Love Moab!

    Thanks!

I feel for ya. I have an SD1000 and it's a pretty cool little camera. As far as you getting it back, unless there's something on the SD card that could identify you (car license place etc) so the finder can try to locate you they probably turned it into a bike shop in Moab. Your chances that whoever found it posts on mtbr are really slim (I've only come across one or two mtbr members on the trails in all my years of riding) so they're not gonna see this thread. I got a D40 too!

    I have the camera.

Shoot me a pm with contact info and we can make arrangements to get it back to you. You are right it was in the last couple of miles of trail.
    Thanks

Wow! I'm shocked! We rode it again 3 days later and I *looked* as we bombed down thru that area. Thanks a ton! I'll shoot you a pm.

No problem. It was just laying face up on a rock, like somone had placed it there. We found it on the 27th.

I'm relieved to find the owner. We really didn't have too much time to ask around while we were in MOAB, I felt bad about that.

    That's cool!

You didn't happen to find my brain up there too?

Ever since we left, my mind has been on Porcupine...
