Looking for someone to ride with Gooseberry UT 6th,8th Sedona AZ 10th-12th

    Hello, My name in Ben
I will be in traveling through St. George UT, Page AZ, and Sedona AZ from the 6th to the 12th of April. I wanted to ride Gooseberry Mesa late afternoon on the 6th and the morning on the 8th. I also wanted to do some riding in Sedona on Wednesday afternoon the 10th, anytime on the 11th and in the morning on the 12th. I would like to check out Hangover and Hiline, but anything sounds good. I donít care if your fast or slow, male or female, or in between I like to have a good time and be on the trail. I wouldnít say I am a really fast rider, but I feel that I am competent and love to eat tacos after a good ride. If you come out and show me some trails Ill buy you lunch and no I am not looking for a date, itís just nice to ride with someone from the area.
    Ben

If you're staying in St George, check out Zen Trail, Bearclaw Poppy or any of the other many trails there. Depending on where you're staying in town you can ride to most of the local trails. Any of the local bike shops can give much info (try Red Rocks).

I'll be out on Gooseberry with a friend on the 6th after lunch. It'll be both of ours first ride there and our first rides of the season, so it won't be super fast and there's a chance of a wrong turn or two. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Maybe I'll see you on your wait out, I ride a green Santa Cruz Hightower LT and I look like Shrek.

I will be just arriving in Zion/Springdale today and was just about to post looking for someone to ride with at Gooseberry (and/or Hurricane Rim Loop). I rode it 3 years back and loved it! I should be getting to town mid afternoon today. I will PM you with my cell if it works to meet up. (And I will be in Zion area all this week if anyone else wants to ride anything else, PM me)

I'd take you up on that, but after four rides in two days I'm toast.

Take something with some ground clearance if you head up the Gooseberry road. If you end up in the ruts they're pretty deep, and there's a pretty rough section about half way up that might make something like a Civic drag if you pick a poor line.

This isn't necessarily Gooseberry but still a group ride for April 9th:

The Barrel Roll area is a fun trail system and one I usually hit when I go down to the St George area. Sounds like you'll be gone by then, but Over the Edge sports also does a group rides on the weekends usually.
