    Last Saturday on Ogden BST?

    Hey,
I was riding the Ogden BST trail last Saturday and passed a guy riding a red ?? bike. He had shorts on with MTBR.com on the back. I should have said something, as I passed but I was climbing and didn't want to stop, plus it didn't hit me for a minute what his shorts said. Anyway "HI" and it was a great ride.

Dang, I knew I was slow on the climbs, but you didn't have to tell the whole world! LOL<O</O

The red ?? bike is a 2001 SantaCruz Superlight. I had to get that bike to make up the difference in weight that I've put on around the middle portion of my disproportionate body.

Maybe next time we can hook up. That's if you can ride slow enough. Sometimes, I'm so slow that the side winds darn near blow me over.

    Happy trails,</O

    No Worries Chris!
    Speed is relative!
We should meet at Mueller Park for a ride one of the following four days.

    Brian,

I'm game for that, but you will have to give me some pretty specific directions to Mueller Park.

Just confirm the time/place before then.

I check this board a couple times a day at least. Plus, you should still have my phone/email.

    Mueller Park

The last time I rode Mueller Park on a weekend I couldn't go more than about 100 feet without passing someone, a biker or hiker going up or down, and we were on the trail before 7:00 AM. I bet this holiday weekend will be waaay busy.

Have fun anyway, it's a great ride.

I think I qualify for your club, how do I join. I hope the dues are not too much, I spend all my extra money on donuts.

Was there someone else riding with you also on a red bike?

However, as I was unsuccessfully navigating the small rock garden just before Waterfall Canyon, someone on a ride bike passed me. He then took a break at the bridge. I didn't see him on the trail again after that.

The way the club works is that the first rider to the top buys the donuts for everyone else.

YES!!! That means I'll never have to buy donuts!

How's it going, Chris. We've got to get together and ride again, now that the trails are drying out. My son and I are planning to go riding tomorrow (Saturday), but I need a really easy ride. I haven't been out more than 3 or 4 times since we rode BST in March. I guess I need to hook up with Ricochet, too...we only live a few miles apart! We can be the Box Elder Chapter of the NUFUG club!

Sorry for hijacking the thread, BTW.

Why don't we make it 0800 on Monday.
We will have to be early, because it may very well be crowded.
What do you or anyone else here say?
I rode it Friday, was a good day! Hardly any one there!
