An Invitation to Ride; SLC area

I would like to invite any and all to ride w/ us, the WMC MTB group.
It is mostly XC type riding, with a good mix of all skill levels.

See the schedule, ride lists, and all that stuff here:
    http://www.xmission.com/~wmc/Biking/index.html

It is a pretty active group, and socially easy going and fun.

If you have any questions, contact Heidi, (the biking director), whose contact info is on the web site.

Come and check it out, and if you dig it, join the WMC club ... it's cheap and the benefits are great.

Hi. I would like to participate in your ride. I hope I'm not too late?

I have an All-Mountain bike with a bashguard.

    Thanks

that's ok, the last thing we need is more groups of 20 people riding together....so lovely to run into a "social event" on the trails. Already getting excited about seeing boy scout troop #117 on the Crest this summer ( minus one or two that get lost ).

    The most important question here...

Is how hot are your women? Do they wear spandex? I think SLC/punk/rockymountain rider aren't seeing the possible benefits of group interactions.

...and that's the reason I spent roughly 20 minutes with a trail map to come up with the Humdinger.

Well that and being caught behind a choo-choo train of giant spandex arses slowly pedalling and descending on Trek hardtails wearing Nike Cross Trainers and no gear to fix a flat that occurs every weekend morning between when the Crest dries out and when school's back in session.

Hmmm....well none of the core group of females wear spandex bottoms anymore. There are a couple of stragglers who show up once or twice a year to ride in a full lycra kit, but they're nothing to write home about (or post a photo up). Then there's mr.welcorn but no need to go down that dark road.

But I get what you're driving at here: the good group rides as opposed to slcpunks Nightmare On The Crest scenario *shudder*.
