    Hurricane MTB Festival March 29-31

    So anyone here going?

I'll be there all week trying to kill myself . Horrible last month of winter up in Calgary and need to start spring riding a bit early. Just threw on the 2.6 Rekons this morning that will either help on the rocks over the DHF's or be a lack grip on loose stuff and cause me to plummet over the side of a cliff.

I wish I could be there, sounds like a riot! Unfortunately, I'll be out of town that weekend.

There are several hundred registered. Will all the bikes be gone and shuttles full in the morning?

The line starts early for the demos. They will have more vendors and bikes this year and they haven't really allowed in more people to help that issue. Should still get the bikes you want. I've never seen the shuttles fill up super fast.

I'm here! By sheer luck, I ended up extending a St. George visit, nixed the Vegas idea, had to move to different accommodations and ended up in a great place in Hurricane.

BUT, I didn't register for the festival because I/we didn't solidify our plans until last night. So I'm getting up early and heading to Over The Edge to see what can be had by late-comers.

So glad things worked out and hoping to demo some nice bikes tomorrow. Being that I'm still on an old Ti hardtail, it should be an eye-opening experience.

After hemming and hawing, I decided to forgo the tandem on this trip. Ended up being the right decision, given the travel constraints. Oh well, there will be more opportunities. But so glad to have this awesome opportunity to check out the festival and get out on some more great rides.

I'll be guiding one of the Gooseberry trips tomorrow. I hope we'll get to meet up somewhere. I'm the funny looking guy.
