    Huktoberfest 2010, October 9 and 10

    Grassroots Cycles presents Huktoberfest,
    a fund raising benefit for the Lunch Loop Bike Park!

    Join us October 9th and 10th at The Ranch for a weekend of skills clinics, dual slalom racin, pump track pumpin, and big air huckin! All proceeds from the event go directly to support the soon to be constructed Lunch Loop Bike Park! Local beer and tasty brats will be on the menu so no need to pack a lunch!

    You can also make online donations to the cause as well as purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win a bike package worth over $2000 from Grassroots Cycles thanks to help from Cove Bikes, DT Swiss, Mountain Racing Products, Dakine, Kali Protectives, FiveTen, and Deity Components. Skills clinics will be hosted by local James Wilson from MTB Strength Training and will be available to riders of all abilities.

    Entrance to the event will be $5/person at the gate. (kids are free but donations are appreciated as all proceeds go directly to the Lunch Loop Bike Park)
    No parking passes are required for this event.

    As usual, no pets or outside alcohol are allowed and no camp fires or open flame cooking is allowed. Camping will be available on a limited basis and camping passes are available on the event registration site.

    Huktoberfest Schedule

    Friday Oct. 8th- DS/Slopestyle practice all day.

    Saturday Oct. 9th 8am-10am DS/Slopestyle practice
    10am Dual Slalom racing begins
    1pm-3pm Slopestyle practice
    3pm Slopestyle begins

    Sunday October 10th- 10am Skills clinic with local MTB skills/strength coach James Wilson. This clinic is open to riders of all abilities and will be focusing on the foundations of biking including bike set up, body position and weighting, as well as techniques for turning, climbing and descending. The cost of the clinic is $50 with all proceeds benefiting the LLBP! Learn more about what James does at www.bikejames.com

    10am Ranch Ride- If you have been wanting to ride The Ranch here is your opportunity to get the guided tour from the Roots crew. This will be a mellow, take it at your own pace bro down focusing on having some fun and progressing your skills. Cost for the day is $40 or is free if you sign up for any of the other events. All proceeds benefit the LLBP!
