How busy is Moab likely to be this weekend with Outerbike in town?

Wife and I were talking about Moab for this coming weekend not realizing it's Outerbike. How busy is it likely to make lodging or trying to get a shuttle for Sunday on TWE?

Sunday will be a ghost town. Friday and Saturday will be much busier.

It's already busy, has been since last weekend. This happens when the riding weather is perfect. Good luck on lodging.......just start making calls but I certainly wouldn''t drop into town without reservations unless you plan on camping.

Raining here off & on since last night. My guess would be burrow/hazard/kokopelli is going to be peanut butter

There will probably be some camping available at the RV parks. Also try ACT Campground, KOA, etc. BLM camps should be full. It won't be as busy as Memorial Day! Lodging is getting more expensive and difficult every year. Probably only high-end available.

    Try AirBnB.

The rain this morning will make perfect trail conditions this weekend! Most of the Outerbike activity will be on the Brand Trails but they are doing shuttles to Mag 7, Amasa, Navajo Rocks so check their site for the days they shuttle to those trails.

I'm heading to Moab from Fruita today (Thursday). Trails are mud here. I seriously doubt the upper Whole Enchilada will be available this weekend. Probably snow, again.

Porcupine Shuttle's Facebook page shows them only going to Kokopelli. That was updated about an hour ago.

I was there Monday and Tuesday - it was dead. I camped down Kane Creek in a self-service campground and again, there were maybe 5 of us in a huge open field.

As far as conditions, a few people I follow on Strava are there this week and a couple of them rode the Whole Enchilada yesterday. That's a big indicator for good weather; I tried to shuttle it Tuesday morning and they wouldn't go all the way up due to weather at the time. Hope this helps. Your best bet is to try to call a shop there, or you could dig around on Strava and see if anyone is riding the high elevation stuff.
