    headed north this weekend.

Headed up to provo this weekend. Is it too muddy to ride up in payson canyon, or what trails are okay right now? Or do I need to strap a stick to my feet for a good time?

its been raining off and on this week. the weekend is still ify , might rain, might snow. i did the lower part of Squaw Peak friday. it was a little muddy, but still a blast. there is 115" of snow at Snowbird, so a day on the slope wouldnt be bad either. im headn to Virgin this weekend to do some ridding.

Lots of weather here. Not so good. Only if you want to be cleaning your bike for the rest of the winter will you ride.

Where you from and what kind of riding do you do?

St. George. As long as I my feet are on pedals, I am happy.

Cleaning my bike doesn't sound fun, since I clean everyone else's all day anyway.

I rode sqaw peak all last week after the rain and it took a couple days to dry out... my buddies and i did build some new jumps at the bottom where most of the trails merge. we also cleared out some brush for a couple cliff drops above the jumps....

if its dry its always a good ride at sqaw peak

Is the land manager good to work with? The area I am working in here in the east is easy to deal with. Building trail is fun but sometimes the process of getting permission can take a while.

well.. to be honest we didnt ask first to build there.. we thought it was public land but found out later its not.... we met some co owners like its some horse co-op or something.. they said they didnt care but the primary owners might.... oh well.

You've got a lot to learn, public land or not you need permission.
