    Hardtail for slc?????

moving to slc this summer and wondering what the terrain is like?? I am mainly a xc rider but like some aggro stuff but no freeriding. Are the trails hardtail friendly??? going down i dont care because i am standing, but how about the climbs?/ pretty smooth or are they rocky and technical??

this is my weapon of choice-

You'll find both types of trails. If you like that bike, you'll find trails around here that'll make you happy.

Most of the trails around here are pretty buff. As long as you're used to riding a rigid, it'll be a breeze.

I haven't ridden around here too much yet. But I've come down trails that the books consider technical, and it isn't bad at all compared to other parts of the county. You should be fine.
