    Going back to St. George

Feh, I just can't stay way from the place.

Looks like I"m heading up to Brians Head to watch the DH races this weekend and probablly staying somewhere in St. George

What are El Chingon and the rest of the homies doing this weekend?

    Hey George,

As luck would have it most of the guys will be up in Brian Head as well. They'll be doing a couple of shuttle runs, I imagine it'll be Bunker Creek and Blow Hard, and checking out the DH venue. I'm sure they'd be happy to let you join in all their reindeer games, so drop Chingon a PM. Unfortunately I'll be outta town on vacation. Have fun!

    Later,
    Ron

Yeah, I'm bringing the fricken bike. I'll PM El Chingon. A lot of my group will be racing but I'll be free to do some shuttle runs.

Put the nastiest tires you've got on (I think the WTB Weirwolf is awesome) and don't forget to bring some armor. Most of the stuff you'll ride with them will be fast descents with intermittent technical sections of loose off-camber gravel. You'll also want some rain gear. We've been getting fairly consistent rain showers in the afternoons.

I couldn't get to the resort by 8:30 Saturday morning to join Ben so I ended up jumping in with a later group to shuttle Bunker Creek.

Nice trail, not very technical, but beautiful. Headed right on the "Left Trail" at the split and had to split a heard of sheep.

I looked for you guys through out the weekend but had no cell service on the moutain to call anyone.

Mabye I'll catch you guys next month at Interbike.

We missed you up there George. We had a blast. I went back up there on Thursday to hit Dark Hollow. That has to be my favorite trail up there. A perfect way to break in the new Turner.
