    Glenwild/24-7/Ant Farm etc entrance blocked...

Went to take the short cut entrance to the Bob's Basin (Ant Farm/Team Cutthroat etc) trails, taking the Jeremy Ranch exit, and parking at the school. Just as we get to the bridge we notice the huge storage box that was near the bridge over the river, has been pushed to totally block the bridge. Still managed to climb over with bikes, but it was a bit sketchy. Saw some people just walk through the river, but if you are heading that way, you might try and find an easier route.

    Thanks for the heads up.

How wet are the trails up there?

On Tuesday at about noon there was a slight dusting of snow just on the traverse at the top in the trees. There was no sloppy mud anywhere, as it was still fairly cool and slightly frozen. The corner on Ant Farm that is paved with rock had a bit of snow, but the rest of the trail was in totally perfect condition.

we contemplated going over the storage box as well but instead followed some other people back out to the road and over to a short piece of trail that connects just past the blocked bridge. Right on the paved road (assuming you have turned around after deciding whether or not to climb over or wade through the river) then take left to road running through neighborhood, right on this road and down hill across bridge and single track on your right. Hope this helps somebody as we may not have founf this entrance had we not followed the other riders there that day.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Trying to get up there before it gets too muddy.
