    Direction for rides from Highline?

    Hey everybody. Camping at Highline for a few days. Curious about access to rides from the park. Been out 18 road a bunch. Ridden Mack, etc, etc... What can i get to from the park?? Much appreciated!!
    Q. how many kids with A.D.D. does it take to change a light bulb?
    A. i don't know, ya wanna go ride bikes?

    You'll get better responses in the Colorado Western Slope forum, since Highline is um..in Colorado.

    That said, it's a fine place to camp. There's a fun trail that goes around the lake..not a destination ride but nice in the evening after dinner. Otherwise, you're about half way between 18 rd and Loma/Mack, a little further from Rabbit Valley or Grand Junction. Probably want a car for any of it, but if you don't mind adding some road miles and time, you could get to 18 rd or Mack on a bike. I'm guessing it's about 10 miles or so to each place.
    I'm looking forward to regretting this.......
