    Current Moab Weather??

We are thinking about heading to Moab next weekend, but the long range forcast shows several days with a 60% chace of rain. Does that mean it may sprinkle a bit or rain like crazy and spoil any good riding?

Outside of major trends in weather (such as huge system moving in), never trust a long range forecast for Moab. Threats of showers don't generally preclude riding.

That said, no one here will be able to predict what will happen next weekend.

Keep this in mind: A bad day in Moab is better than a good day at the office...

Found this webcam the other day...

    Looks awful, doesn't it?

From my experience, when it rains in Moab it usually rains for a couple hours in the late afternoon / night. Then it dries up, then you go ride the next morning.

Like Hfly said - it doesn't preclude riding. Rain in Moab can usually be considered a thick mist anywhere else.

    Lets see...

I just got back from Moab, an it was nice high in the upper 50's/lower 60's. But is was very windy... like 35-40 mph gusts. I was being blown off the trail Wednesday on Soverign. It was still sweet though.
