Crest Rides Pushed Back - Way Back

Just saw Alta has 22 inches of fresh snow this morning. And to think, a month ago I thinking I might be riding the Crest by early June. On top of that, I'm not even going to get to sample the new snow. I've got a meeting today and then tomorrow I leave for Sea Otter. This is the flipside of living in paradise - being so close to the goodness when you absolutely can't touch it.

    **sigh**
Back of the camera, back of the pack.

Don't think June would be out of the question still for the crest, it is (for the most part) on the south side of the ridge and not as much snow exists there as compared to the base of Alta.

Maybe late June.....lived in Big Cottonwood for a couple years in the late 90's and it was pretty standard to not be able to ride that until around 4th of July weekend.....looks like you had a big winter up that way this year.
