Coming to SLC in June where to ride DH

I will be in SLC for a couple days in June for a friends wedding. What are the resort close to SLC that offer lift assisted DH riding?

    Park City?

I'm from SoCal so I have no clue about the riding in Utah.

    Deer Valley

Deer Valley (in Park City) offers the most extensive lift-serviced mountain biking near Salt Lake. They typically don't open their lifts until mid-June (snow permitting). Their website shows an opening date of June 17, but I don't know if that's still current. Snowbasin (near Ogden) also offers lift-serviced downhill trails, but they are much more XC oriented than Deer Valley's trails. They won't be open until June 24, according to their website.

    Leaving the Southland

Moving to SLC, Chuky is looking at condos in Park City tomorrow...

    WOOT!

It's been about 10 years since I lived in Utah, I sure hope you guys didn't jack up the trails.

drboudreaux- do you ride big bikes only? Or do you have a full quiver? Trying to put together a Singlespeed Summit at Gooseberry for Memorial day. HIJACK!
