    City Creek Canyon

Anyone know why City Creek is closed to bikes currently? I like to finish my BST ride with a climb up city creek, but it's been closed to bikes every time I've gone this year.

Is this a special closure - different from the odd-day only rule for bikes?

Hmmmm. Not sure, but you could be right. I think the last two times I've tried to ride up were odd. I'll give it a go on an even day...thanks

In the summer: Bicycling is only allowed in the canyon on odd days beginning the last Monday in May and ending the last even day of September. Regardless of date, bicycling is not allowed on summer holidays, including Memorial Day, July 4, Pioneer Day, and Labor Day.

Just remember it is the opposite of Big Water in Millcreek.
I always remember Millcreek as Even = Ok = Good. Not really a trick, but I can remember that for some reason.

Always thought the city creek restriction was pretty weak ... really? no bikes on a freaking road?
