    Cheap Cabins In/Near Moab?

    Hello:

I am looking to take a trip out to Moab this August, and was wondering if anyone had any advice on any cheap cabins. Looking for around $30/night, if this is possible. Basically just looking for a quiet place with a roof and a fire pit. Any help appreciated.

    TIA,
    Brad

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I would be open to private rentals as well. Question about Moab Valley RV...when you stayed there, was it pretty busy? Looks like it may have the potential to be. Thanks again!

It was not too bad the place is pretty quiet. It is at the junction of 128 and 171 just as you come into town so there is some road noise. It is a little busy in the morning and at night but not durning the day.

I have stayed here a few times, great cabins, pool, and kids are not allowed in the hot tub.( the only pee free tub in town) Highly recomend it, the only drawback is all the rules, there are a lot of them.

A long time ago, friends of mine stayed at the Lazy Lizard, which is a sort of hostel I suppose. I met them there and I know they had good showers. This is about 9 years ago. Usually, when I have gone to moab the past several years we just camped, or just went for the day. The lizard was at the far south end of town.

    here is a link: http://www.lazylizardhostel.com/

if you are ok with dorm type situations, you can stay for $9/night. private rooms are in the mid-$20's I think.

we have stayed twice at moab rim cabins. it does have a stove so it is nice for cooking. Sleeps 4 /60 per night. It is about 4 miles southj of town
I just don't understand my wife....she thinks its nuts to ride when the temperature is in the 20's....go figure
